Titanfall

TitanFall is out today for the Xbox One and the PC, and given the massive scope of its launch, it’s understandable facing connection issues where Private Lobbies are taking an eternity to load. Respawn, EA and Microsoft have put out the first patch for the game in order to fix this issue.

“We’re aware that some users may have experienced early issues on PC and Xbox One,” says a Facebook update on the game’s official Facebook page. “We’ve just pushed a patch that’s now recovering servers quickly. Players will load into Private Lobbies much faster and we’re continuing to monitor. Thanks for sticking with us on launch night, we appreciate your support!”

EA has also put out some general instructions for people to follow to make sure they connect to the internet while playing TitanFall. Read them below.

  • Check your Internet connection with another game to ensure you have a working connection to the Internet.
  • Make sure you have opened all the necessary ports for Titanfall.
  • Check on the status of the Xbox Live network, if you’re playing on Xbox One or Xbox 360.
  • If your internet connection works but you can’t maintain a connection to the Titanfall servers, you may still be eligible for a refund via the Great Game Guarantee if you purchased your game from Origin.
