We have some new details on the Tomb Raider multiplayer and it’s something that the developers haven’t revealed before.

It was outed via Allgamesbeta which spotted the link on the Game.co.uk website and as expected they have taken it down, but we have the complete details for you below.

The game is scheduled to be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC early next year, and promises to provide 12 hours of single player gameplay experience which is a bit short but completely expected since they are taking a more cinematic approach this time around. The details below can be termed as spoilers but they are completely minor, so check them out below.

A Turning Point: Experience Lara Croft’s intense origin story from a young woman to a hardened survivor.

An All-New Raiding Experience: Explore a mysterious island filled with environmental puzzles, visceral combat, and ancient tombs to discover.

Fight to Live: Salvage resources, gain experience, and upgrade Lara’s weapons to survive the island’s hostile inhabitants.

Survive as a Team: Play a variety of multiplayer modes as Lara’s Shipmates or Yamatai’s Scavengers.

The last one gives a vague idea of what to expect in the multiplayer component but something tells me that’s not something I am too excited to play.

Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
