We normally talk about the big-name releases in the coming month and how there’s something to look forward to even in the off-season. August 2017 is different though. In August, there’s at least – and we repeat – at least 25 compelling games releasing across multiple platforms. Want a new game for the Nintendo Switch? Well, there are at least two to look forward to. Ditto for survival, first person shooters, open world games, horror titles, sports games and much more. So let’s take a look at the top 25 games that you shouldn’t miss in August.

Tacoma

tacoma

Tacoma is Fullbright’s first game since the critically acclaimed Gone Home and sees players exploring a mysterious Lunar Transfer Station of the same name roughly 200,000 miles from Earth. Honestly, there’s very little that’s been revealed about the game aside from delays to change certain parts. Regardless, if you seek a first person adventure title with some mystery, Tacoma will be out on August 2nd for Xbox One and PC.
