Watch Dogs 2 appears to be the kind of breath of fresh air, fun revitalization of the drab and dour original title that Assassin’s Creed 2 was to its similarly all too serious predecessor- and the hope is that Watch Dogs 2 is as successful at reimagining its core formula while retaining the essentials.

This new trailer certainly seems to suggest that that will be the case. Titled ‘Welcome To DeadSec,’ the trailer simply appears to be a whole lot of fun, showcasing a game that isn’t taking itself too seriously, and that is all too happy to have the player along for the ride- basically, it’s the kind of difference that characterized Grand Theft Auto 5 from its all too serious predecessor.

Watch Dogs 2 is due out this November on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. You can check out the new trailer for the game below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.
