Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes: The visual evolution of Big Boss

The visual evolution of Big Boss.

We have an interesting comparison here of Big Boss and his visual evolution through the various Metal Gear games he was featured in. It’s no secret that the Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes character model looks the best, but hey, that’s what a new highly optimized engine does.

Big Boss was first seen in Metal Gear Solid 3 as Naked Snake and then in Metal Gear Solid 4, but chronologically that’s not how it works though. First is obviously MGS3, followed by Peacewalker, Ground Zeroes and then Metal Gear Solid 4.

We have the GIFs (courtesy: reddit) of these character models in the proper chronological pattern, so check them out below. We’re not asking you to choose which one looks best–that’s fairly obvious, but this goes to show how accurate Kojima’s visual depiction of the character has been in these various games.
