Xbox Live DDoS Issues Resolved Quickly

Microsoft didn’t seem too bothered.

Sony wasn’t the only one suffering from DDoS attacks yesterday- Microsoft was too, as users started to report of problems with Xbox Live. The service was apparently having issues, with party chat in Diablo III and the PBS app being the only things that were really badly affected. It certainly wasn’t a network wide outage as it was with the PSN, and Microsoft appeared pretty unfazed by it, particularly as the issues were resolved pretty quickly.

Thankfully, Xbox Live now seems to be back up fully- as does PSN- although LizardCrew seem to be strutting about on Twitter, pointing out their great success in bringing both of these networks down, and taunting FBI, goading them, claiming that they can’t actually be tracked down or caught.

Yeah guys, we’ll see how it goes. You’ll all be caught pretty quickly.

Wow. This isn’t good for any of us. Makes me wanna remove my card from Live immediately. I will say that alot of people r smartening up buying subs from Amazon, instead of using their credit cards online. I’m doing this the next cycle man. U never know who’s looking ur way.
