Xbox One Has Over 1000 Games In Development, Says Chris Charla

Some will be shown off at GDC.

While a few people may be concerned with the fact that, at least on the face of it, the Xbox One doesn’t have a lot of exclusive content coming its way in the foreseeable future, it seems like there are still plenty of games coming out for it soon.

Chris Charla, who is the head of Microsoft’s indie games program ID@Xbox, says that there are more than a thousand games that are currently in development for the Xbox One, from developers under the program, and that some of these are going to be shown off at GDC this year.

This is pretty good news for Xbox One owners (and prospective owners), especially considering the fact that indies have always been some of the best games in the Xbox lineup over the years, even during the 360 days.

The Game Developers Conference begins tomorrow, so there will be a lot of great new news to bring to you in the next few days. Stay tuned for more updates.

What a stupid article, xbox has plenty of exclusives, and MS doesnt announce exclusives that wont ship for 2 years like sony, so after e3 you should then comment on the exclusive story.
The quality of this site is crap, and almost every game comes to the x1 and ps4, so im not sure how this is even a story….

No because those three games were announced before they said that they would stop announcing games too far in advance. Those games are the reason why they had to stop announcing them before they had something playable. Sorry but you are wrong. Come on keep up.

Hope it lives up to the hype. I know it won’t because hype is through the roof. You will be able to tell right away. I just hope it’s not another boring ps4 exclusive.

Without indies the gaming industry would be dry, we are getting less AAA games every year, so i am happy about this.

Games like Inside, We Happy Few, elite dangerous etc
