Xbox One S

Microsoft have finally confirmed that they will be bringing the Xbox One S over to Japan. So far, their slimmer Xbox One revision had not been launched or even confirmed for the island nation. However, during an event held today at the Toranomon Hills Forum venue in Tokyo, Microsoft confirmed that the Xbox One S will be available in Japan very soon.

How soon? Try two weeks from now. Microsoft have confirmed that the Xbox One S goes on sale in Japan on November 24. The price will be 34,980 yen for the Xbox One S 1TB bundle with Halo 5: Guardians. Microsoft undoubtedly hope that the Xbox One S will revive the flagging fortunes of the console in the territory much has it has in the rest of the world- if only to a smaller degree.

You can check out the Japanese launch trailer for yourself below. What impact Xbox One S has in Japan remains to be seen.
