To be fair, there’s a sizeable contingent of Killzone 2 fans out there that’ll argue that the first person shooter’s very unique controls and movement are a crucial part of the experience, and a big part of why that game is as good as it is. At the same time, many have criticized Guerrilla’s first person shooter on that front. Upon launch, Killzone 2 was criticized by many for having very heavy movement and aiming, with sensitivity settings that didn’t exactly align with what many expected of AAA shooters. Regardless of whether or not you agree with that, there’s no denying that it takes some getting used to.
