MONSTER HUNTER 4
Monster Hunter greatly streamlined itself with Monster Hunter World in 2018, and one of the many areas that it applied some much-needed polish to was the controls. Before that explosion in popularity, Monster Hunter games were often tricky to control (at least for those who weren’t particularly familiar with the series)- largely because so many of the series’ instalments launched for handhelds that frankly weren’t suited to games of this kind. Monster Hunter 4, for instance, launched on the 3DS, a system with just one circle pad, with the game itself lacking lock-on.
