LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2
As a follow-up to the 2013 title, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 embraced a cosmic level of scale with its worlds. In the fight against Kang the Conqueror, players explored Chronopolis, which combined various Marvel settings across different eras, from Wakanda and Xandar to Marvel Noir’s New York City and even Knowhere. The sheer range of alternate versions of popular characters like Gwenpool, Iron Duck and Spider-Man 2099, and the use of time-travelling was a nice spin on the traditional LEGO-style of gameplay, even if the formula was starting to wear thin.
