6. Deadly Premonition
One of the most unique and intriguing games ever, Deadly Premonition created a rich open world through its tone and writing rather than through particular technical excellence or attention to detail. Those brought up on Rockstar and Bethesda quality production values may find Deadly Premonition technically underwhelming, but the world of Greenvale came alive through brilliant writing and an engaging cast of characters in spite of its visual blemishes.
