Where Winds Meet - Hidden Mountain_02

Where Winds Meet remains a strong addition to the online RPG space thanks to its wuxia-inspired world, excellent combat, and a steady stream of new content.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Everstone has been resting on its laurels. We got a new region last month, and we’ve now received a glimpse of the Dual Spears, a new weapon type whose name might be a tad misleading until you understand why it’s called that. You won’t wield one in each hand as you might have suspected. Instead, you’ll switch between offense and defense on the fly with one.

We’ve been given a peek at how the weapon’s animations came to life in the motion capture studio, with renowned martial arts consultant Yuen Woo-ping, who has already worked on the mo-cap for other weapon types, bringing his years of experience and insight to the process. The result is an impressive set of moves that will make the martial artists in you grin with glee when you see how the spear can be your next big weapon of choice.

The Dual Spears are available on November 26th, and while you wait, Hutuo goes live on November 13th to celebrate the game’s first anniversary.
