3. Uncharted
Possibly the most popular franchise Sony has ever created. We doubt that when Sony and Naughty Dog jointly worked on and released the first Uncharted game back in 2007, they had any idea that this series would go on to become one that defines not only the PS3, but the PlayStation brand in general, in the same vein that Mario defines Nintendo and Halo defines Xbox. Boasting of some of the greatest set piece moments the industry has ever seen with top-notch writing, likable characters and fast-paced, thrilling combat and parkour gameplay to boot, Uncharted has to be one of the greatest franchises to gave come out in the last few decades, let alone the seventh generation.
