5. "It'll Be Over Soon"
Banter is defined as spontaneous and improvised jokes made back and forth between a group competing against each other. If you start scripting banter, it all begins to fall apart. Not only that, but the particular line of “just let it happen, it'll be over soon” is also being read by some as having violent and/or sexual connotations. Whether it is or isn't is an argument I don't want to wade in on, but the fact that it could even be construed in that way is bad news for a press conference being broadcast to millions worldwide.
