GTA III

Defining an entire genre, an entire era of gaming is what GTA III did. After two very unremarkable and unappreciated instalments in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, no one would have expected Grand Theft Auto III to be the awesome, revolutionary game that is was. With immense freedom to boast of, a great city design which actually felt authentic, a then unprecedented deep and varied structure of missions and an addictive game play, GTA III became, and will remain, one of the best games of its generation.

Ratcher and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal

The Ratchet and Clank series is a very important one for both, Sony and the PlayStation family, with a Ratchet and Clank game on almost all their systems ever released, and all of them being truly wonderful. The first Ratchet and Clank game was brilliant, and the series has only gotten better with the Future trilogy, but you know which game defines what the franchise is all about, and how games in the genre should be done? Ratchet and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal- a wacky, fun, refreshing and hilarious experience no PS2 owner should miss.

Jak 3

We don’t need to establish the fact that the Jak series is great, and neither do we need to tell anybody how good Jak 3 was- its common knowledge. Naughty Dog were are their best of the preview generation with Jak 3, and with an immensely fun game play system, Jak 3 turned out to be one of the best platformers on the PS2, one that will always be remembered.
