THE QUARRY
There were quite a few other similar games we could have spoken about here, but let’s go with the most recent one, for convenience’s sake. Supermassive Games has settled into its groove with its interactive horror adventure formula, and while The Quarry might not be on the same level as something like Until Dawn, it’s still a solid game in its own right. And like others of its ilk, this is a game that’s designed around replays. The permutations and combinations of how your actions can change the course of the story and decide the fate of all the characters feel countless- which they’re not, obviously, but there’s a decent number nonetheless. Going through all the different scenarios, especially if you’re doing it co-op, can be a lot of fun.
