We’re at a point where Ubisoft might as well just not make any official announcements for new Assassin’s Creed games, because all of them invariably get leaked anyway. This has to be the most leaked franchise in the history of the games industry. It all started with a leak for the very first game in 2006, and after that, nearly every single major new instalment in the series has been leaked before its announcement. Brotherhood, Revelations, Assassin’s Creed 3, Black Flag, Liberations, Rogue, Unity, Syndicate, Odyssey– every single one of those got leaked. Hell, even the upcoming Vikings Assassin’s Creed title, reportedly called Ragnarok, has been leaked.
