DESTINY- REVEAL TRAILER
People expected great things from Destiny, most of all because it was Bungie’s first new game after having handed over the reins of Halo to 343 Industries. When the trailers for the game came out, those expectations only grew. The videos showed a game rife with character and personality, a game with brilliant set-piece missions and moments that would stick out in memory for years to come. When the game launched, it launched to general disappointment (though it still sold in droves), which is quite understandable. We’re not saying Destiny’s a bad game, but it just wasn’t what we thought it would be. It mostly consistent of rinse and repeat missions that lacked any real character, and they were far from being the memorable missions we expected them to be.
