BRUTAL LEGEND- REVEAL TRAILER
This was actually flat out false advertising in the most malicious way possible. Developers Vivendi were afraid that Brutal Legend wouldn’t garner as much attention and hype if people knew it as the RTS game it really was, and as such, they decided to promote it as something it wasn’t even close to being. Not only did all the trailers showcase it as a stylish, action heavy hack-n-slash game with combo-based combat, they also constructed a demo for the game around that very same concept. It didn’t help that even as an RTS, it was only mediocre at best, and flat out boring and uninspired at worst.
