CHOICES

cyberpunk 2077

Choice and consequence mechanics are crucial in an RPG such as Cyberpunk 2077, and after how well they implemented those in The Witcher 3, CDPR had high expectations to live up to. Based on early reviews, it seems they’ve done that. IGN’s review talks about decisions made early in the campaign that come back to have major narrative consequences even over 20 hours later in unexpected ways, such as turning what could have been a combat encounter into a friendly conversation. The fates of characters and V themselves will, of course, change based on your choices, while it also looks like even entire missions can be skipped depending on what choices you make.
