7. Super Mario Bros:
These levels have essentially been a pain since the original Mario Brothers game and after all this time it hasn’t gotten any better. The most frustrating part about most Mario titles are in fact the water levels. While you can usually just cruise on the bottom of the world, and slowly take your time you’ve got to swim at some point.
It’s also very easy to find yourself penned in by fish and squid with nowhere to go. Nothing is more frustrating than being killed by one of those guppy-faced jerks over and over when all you want to is to get Mario’s feet back on dry land.
