HORIZON ZERO DAWN REMASTERED
October 31’s headlines will likely be dominated by the launch of the aforementioned Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but on that very same day, we’re also getting a remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn. Guerrilla’s acclaimed open world action RPG is still a gorgeous game even in its original form, seven years on from release, so there are many who have called the need for this remaster’s existence into question – which has been frustratingly common with Sony this generation – but viewed on its own merits, it is looking like quite an impressive upgrade. Developer Nixxes Software is doing quite a lot to bring Zero Dawn up to the technical and visual level of Horizon Forbidden West, while Sony is also offering upgrade paths, so there’s definitely a fair few people who’re going to be looking at the remaster with plenty of interest.
