2. Batman: Arkham City

The oldies can indeed be the goodies, with Rocksteady's epic Batman sequel looking a cut above the rest on a good PC. The Unreal Engine that powers Arkham City is locked out at 30FPS on consoles, a limit that is pleasantly absent on a decent gaming rig. That and, as one of the first major titles to truly support DirectX 11, it was among the first games to offer full tesselation support.
