A painful nine years and a developer change separated Max Payne 3 from its predecessor, but those nine years transformed the series in plenty of ways. I'm sure there are those out there who lament and love the changes in the third MP game in equal measure, but one undeniable fact is how far graphics have come since Max Payne 2.
