God of War 2018
Sony Santa Monica delivered an excellent combination of a sincere narrative and heart-thumping combat with 2018’s God of War, although it can be inconsistent with its pacing at times. The game starts out strong and does a great job at doling out new mechanics, and if you stick to the critical path – God of War does have a great sense of pacing, but those seeking to complete the tougher challenges like Valkyrie fights will have to grind a lot of high-level gear to even stand a chance against these beasts – which can heavily ruin the overall pacing in that case.
