Incomplete Ideas:

This is a big one. Lots of games have had this problem in the past, though thankfully we’re seeing less and less of this every year. When I say incomplete ideas, I mean games that look good at face value but do not add any depth or content to expand on these ideas. Games like All Points Bulletin, (APB) and Champions Online come to mind.

They started out with some good, but very basic ideas. Both of these games had some great character customization and other details but failed to flesh out things like story and gameplay enough. Champions online has certainly generated more content, fixed bugs and expanded on the ideas that they had before, however, this was not the case when the game originally launched and it really hurt the game.
