PS4 CROSS-PLAY
This is one of those times when Sony changed their minds about something and we were actually happy about it. For the longest time, Sony remained adamant that they would not allow cross-platform play support on the PS4, even as Microsoft and Nintendo continued to open the floodgates on their own platforms. But pressure from fans, developers, and the industry at large ultimately made Sony change their minds. Cross-play was finally allowed on the system, at first for very few games, and eventually for many, many more. Here’s hoping that with the PS5, that support is extended even further.
