Square Enix’s 2012 open world crime sim Sleeping Dogs is the textbook definition of a modern cult classics. Chances are, you’ve seen it on lists of underrated games deserving of a sequel more than a few times (we may have suggested that more than a few time ourselves), and though that is certainly the dream, another chance to experience the original wouldn’t go amiss either. Sleeping Dogs itself has aged gracefully, but a remake with all of the modern bells and whistles you’d want from visual and technical perspectives would be an undeniably enticing prospect.
