10. A Power Outage
Much like the death by glitch, this one is a totally unfair way to become deceased in a game. At least with most glitches you get to see exactly how your character dies, but this particular end doesn't grant you any kind of closure at all. Not only that, it can also make you paranoid that it will occur in future. Any time I get a power outage that costs me a large amount of progress in a game, I find myself constantly saving all the time in games for the next month or so, a practice that is inefficient and probably quite bad for my sanity. You never do know when it will strike next.
