In the midst of big budget retreads like Resident Evil 6, Capcom snuck Dragon’s Dogma out and brought us an open world with awesome action RPG mechanics with a decent storyline. The gameplay was the most involving we’ve seen from a JRPG from years and the world itself offered plenty to do on the side.
