17 – Far Cry 3 (2012)

Far Cry 1 and 2 didn't really impress me much to be honest, and when Far Cry 3 released I thought to myself "let's give it a shot for the heck of it" and boy am I glad I did. Far cry 3 is an absolute gem of a game in terms of gameplay, visuals, and story, thought the protagonist is a bit of a weirdo and gets weirder as the game progresses. The game just shines in all aspects, the voice acting is brilliant, and the combat is addictive. No wonder this game got nominated and won several games of the year awards.
