5 – The Last of Us (2013)
Last of us features some really grand gameplay. I mean I was stunned when I saw how the developers executed some brilliant gameplay as well as developing some really spectacular visuals; the setting of the game is an action-adventure survival horror video game. The player and his partner will fight for their survival with gun fighting and melee combat. The player will fight off the Infected, and the Survivors that are not infected, but are hostile. With a gripping storyline, fantastic gameplay, stunning visuals, it certainly is a top contender for game of the year.
