3. Gran Turismo 5

Release date: November 3rd, 2010

The Duke Nukem of the racing genre is finally getting released in just a couple of months. This time new to the series will be the damage engine, a first for the franchise coupled with overturning of cars if the angle and other physic factors go awry. The number of cars expected in the game is around a thousand. So there are tons of vehicles to drive for hardcore racing fans. GT5 looks like it will live up to its name of: The Real Driving Simulator.

2. Little Big Planet 2

Release date: 16th November, 2010

Undoubtedly one of the biggest sequels to be released this year on the PlayStation 3, the talented team at Media Molecule is planning to take more than a step ahead in case of Little Big Planet 2. Now you can do whatever you want, create NPC’s, create any damn gaming genre…it’s now all possible with the amazing engine powering Little Big Planet 2. The concept of Play, Create and Share just got better.

1. The Last Guardian

Release date: Holiday, 2011

The next game from Team ICO looks to deliver the same sweet, smooth and absorbing game play and environment as they did with their previous two games. The game is slated for Holiday 2011, so there is still about a year left for the game. We have very little information about the game but judging by the trailers it looks like it will be a great mix of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.

Honorable Mention:

  • Dead Nation
  • Heroes on the Move
  • Yakuza 4
  • ICO and Shadow of Colossus HD collection
  • Socom 4
