Bonus Modes
Bonus modes are meant to break up the monotony and provide a nice, little mini-game before getting back to the action. But when you really think about it – why is the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate cast running through a maze of platforms and collecting coins? Why do you wreck cars in Street Fighter? Mortal Kombat’s Test of Strength system is more believable but again, why would these fighters just stop to break some boards or blocks before continuing their murder spree?
