DICE always like to be at the forefront of technical advancements with its games, and Battlefield 5 was yet another example of them doing that. It’s already a game that stands head and shoulders above its competition when it comes to visual and audio design, but with ray tracing, it gets an even bigger boost. The already detailed maps look much better, explosions pop even more, smoke and reflections look ridiculously realistic, and water bodies come to life thanks to lifelike reflections.
