This list would be incomplete if we hadn’t mentioned Bowser’s Inside Story. Sure, it’s not a single boss, fight, and really the entire game (or most of it, at any rate), but it’s literally a game about tiny Mario and Luigi being stuck inside of Bowser and fighting their way through his innards to make it back outside. Are we cheating with this entry? You could say that. But does it make sense? Absolutely.
