The actual boss fight against the Stygian in Darksiders doesn’t actually take place in the creature’s innards, with War riding around on his horse in the desert for most of it. But once the fight is done, it ends with a slick cutscene of the Horseman jumping straight into the beast’s gaping mouth, which is promptly followed by an explosion as War emerges from its insides.
