ICO

Beauty and storytelling were always Team Ico’s strong suits, this was why their first released title; ICO was such a big hit. ICO told the story through the gameplay rather than traditional methods. The game didn’t instantly force the player into a tutorial as soon as you exit the cutscene, rather it let you figure it out yourself, which is something a lot of gamers prefer. The game focuses on a boy named Ico as he solves puzzles and explores a large castle, all the while attempting to escape with a girl known as Yorda. The game was re-released outside of the US in the wake of Shadow of the Colossus, but that was in 2006, and we have a new era of consoles, so it’s best that this remake takes advantage of the improved graphics and make it even better.
