Konami’s Silent Hill 2 remains a masterclass in horror design, and continues to be one of the best games of its ilk so many years after its release. After a healthy dose of rumors on the matter, we finally have confirmed news that a Silent Hill 2 remake is coming. The project will be helmed by Bloober Team of Layers of Fear fame, and it will use the Unreal Engine 5 to modernize the experience. The remake will utilize a third person perspective, and the gameplay will also be updated to be in line with modern horror games. It releases for PS5 sometime in the near future.
