EVENT CANCELLATIONS
The COVID-19 pandemic was the event that defined most of 2020, unfortunately, and it affected everyone in the world in all walks of life. The games industry was obviously not spared from COVID’s impact on the world. A number of major events, conventions, and conferences were either pushed back (and then shifted to a digital format) or cancelled entirely. The most notable cancellation came in the form of E3 2020, with this become the first year since 1995 without E3.
