Abyssion seems like a decent enough fellow initially, tasking you to gather all of the Devil’s Arms so he can seal them away. Spoiler: He infuses himself with the Dark Lord Nebilim’s power and uses all the Devil’s Arms against you. So along with some utterly devastating attacks, he also tons of health. The best way to fight Abyssion is to use the All-Divide, which halves the damage you deal and receive. Sure, the battle goes on even longer but your chances of survival are better. Fun fact: In the PS2 version, All-Divide doesn’t work on Abyssion and he’s tougher.
