Dead Space Remake_04

Part of what makes the aforementioned gaps between announcement and launch so frustrating is how little we tend to see of those games for long stretches. That’s understandable, of course, because developers don’t want to show their games until they’re as far along in development as they possibly can be. In 2022, however, we saw perhaps the beginnings of a trend – from EA in particular – where developers were willing to show off early development footage of their games. We got to see behind-the-scenes early dev footage and gameplay for both Dead Space and Skate, and we’d definitely like to see more of that with other games in the future.
