The Elder Scrolls happen in a far simpler time, when people were poor and relied on the Elder Scrolls to survive danger. Of course, this was simply in some areas of the world. Occasionally, weapons and equipment could make their way across the waters from distant lands, such as the equally storied lands of Legend, Hyrule, and find themselves a place within the armoires of storied heroes such as the Dragonborn. Is it overkill to use the legendary sword of evil’s bane and the perfectly matching Hylian Shield against a simple bandit? …Yeah, probably.
