Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Eidos Montreal’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a game about choices. It gives you a ton of tools and sets you free in a sandbox with an objective that you are free to carry out in any way you deem fit. That said, players are expected to be careful of who they dispatch and how they dispatch. The game gives out less XP (30 to be precise) instead of 50 XP awarded for a non-lethal takedown to encourage players to go the stealth route more often. It might not be the most creative of solutions but is certainly a good enough nudge without getting in the way of player freedom.
