Makai Kingdom – Zetta
Following up on the massive success of Disgaea, Nippon Ichi Software churned out numerous tactical turn-based RPGs. Makai Kingdom is one and follows Zetta, a powerful Overlord who, through some twists and turns, transforms into a tome for other Overlords to write in. Through this, Zetta recruits different followers, ultimately fighting to save his NetherWorld. Zetta would continue to make subsequent appearances in the Disgaea series and even Phantom Brave’s PSP remake The Hermuda Triangle as a side character.
