TWISTED METAL

Twisted Metal was absolutely huge in the days of the PS1 and PS2, but the franchise’s stock has certainly fallen over the last decade and a half. Sony did try to revitalize it with a reboot on the PS3, but that wasn’t nearly as successful as they would have hoped. After that, they sort of just… gave up. Twisted Metal completely disappeared, and it’s remained off the radar for a long time now. We don’t know if the franchise will ever come back, or if it has a place in Sony’s first party lineup as it exists today- but we sure hope that it manages to fight its way back to the top.
