RAYQUAZA (POKEMON EMERALD)
Pokemon as a series is crammed full of boss fights against Dragon-type Pokemon. There are so many of them that we could have just made an entire list about the best Dragon-type Pokemon of all time (hell, who knows, maybe we might end up doing that some day anyway). But if you’ve played Pokemon Emerald and have ever gone up against Rayquaza in the Sky Pillar in the endgame, you know just how challenging this particular encounter is. While many might choose to just finish the fight in one go by using their Master Balls (though I wouldn’t recommend that- I’d personally save it for Deoxys), doing so would mean you would miss out on one of the most difficult boss encounters in any Pokemon game ever.
