But Bazelguese is, of course, not the only awesome, ridiculously huge, hard as nails dragon boss fight in Monster Hunter World. Unlike Bazelguese, this is not an optional boss fight, being the last monster you face as part of the game’s story. It doesn’t start out as a very challenging fight, with the first encounter actually being fairly easy, but things get quite heated in the fight’s second phase. In the second phase, Xeno’jiva can use elemental attacks that do devastating amounts of damage, while it also has a few attacks that can easily one-shot you. Sure, it’s not among the hardest fights in the game, but the encounter is certainly a memorable one.
