Cuphead
Yes, we know what you’re thinking. “Cuphead isn’t that difficult! You just need to get good!” As a whole, this gorgeous 2D run and gun platformer embodied everything that we loved about titles like Mega Man. However, it takes getting used to especially when pulling off Parry Slaps in the middle of combat. The boss fights, while implementing strong tells for everything, are also a mix of bullet hell and outright insanity. That’s not even getting into Expert mode which throws more wrenches into the mix.
